The Israeli military says more than 10 pro-Palestinian activists have been killed after attacking naval commandos who were halting an aid flotilla heading toward the blockaded Gaza Strip. The army says dozens of people were wounded, both soldiers and activists, and it is evacuating the casualties from the Mediterranean by helicopter. (AP)

JERUSALEM: Israeli commandos on Monday stormed six ships carrying hundreds of pro-Palestinian activists on an aid mission to the blockaded Gaza Strip, killing at least 10 people and wounding dozens after encountering unexpected resistance as the forces boarded the vessels.

Al Arqam - biar betul

Macam-macam keramat abuya ni...

Kuala Lumpur, May 27 (ANI): The power behind the tsunami, which killed hundreds of thousands in Acheh in 2004, was AL-ARQAM founder, the late Ashaari Muhammad, his widow Hatijah Aam has claimed.

Malaysian newspaper Berita Harian has reported that Hatijah made the claim in a book she authored and launched on April 7, a month before Ashaari died from lung infection at Ipoh Specialist Hospital.

Hatijah claimed that Ashaari, who she referred to as Abuya, had the power to lift an ocean and send it away, reports the Star Online.

"Ashaari created this weapon to battle the people in the war in Acheh so that they will never go to war in Ashaari's land," it said.

In another chapter, Hatijah claimed that the lives of one family was spared when one of them shouted Abuya's name for help instead of Allah when their house was submerged by rising water.

The book has come under fire from the Indonesian Ulama Council, which said that the book's writings had deviated from Islam.

"Only Allah has the power to bring tsunami or any natural disaster," the council's secretary Rafani Akhyar told the newspaper. (ANI)

ITS NOT THE MATTER OF DATE, ITS THE MATTER OF LATE - HAPPY BIRTHDAY

If life begins at 40....
What just ended for you?

Happy (belated) 41st Birthday to my husband,
Hasbullah Abu Talib,

Here's some birthday quotes specially for you,

Age is something that doesn't matter, unless you are a cheese

You're not young enough to know everything.

You're a WOM...Wiser Older Man

Be wise with speed; A fool at forty is a fool indeed.
Forty is the old age of youth; fifty is the youth of old age.

Looking thirty is great--if you're forty.

The man who views the world at forty the same as he did at twenty, has wasted twenty years of his life.

We know we're getting old when the only thing we want for our birthday is not to be reminded of it.

Old age isn't so bad when you consider the alternative.

The older the fiddler, the sweeter the tune.
Heartiest congratulations dear on reaching 41+ 18 days, you've been a dynamic husband and wonderful father to our children.

Chelsea on the Radix Double

Carlo Ancelotti identified Petr Cech's penalty save as the key moment in Saturday's FA Cup Final, which gave him the Double at his first attempt.

Speaking after the game at Wembley, the Italian was delighted to have achieved such success in his first season in English football. He already has his sights set on next season but will be celebrating with his squad before getting back to work.

'We have to celebrate this victory together I think because everyone put something [in] for winning this Double,' he said.

'I did not have a lot of problems this year with my job, always I could count on the support of my club, my owner, my players. This is not so difficult to manage.

'This is a fantastic victory for me, I am very happy in my first time here in England. I am lucky I had a very good career with fantastic clubs and this year I was happy to work in a fantastic club with a fantastic atmosphere. Everybody did a fantastic job and I thank everyone that worked with me this year.'

Things looked like they could go very wrong when Juliano Belletti tripped Aruna Dindane in the Chelsea area, following a first-half onslaught that had seen us hit the woodwork five times.

'[It was] strange to hit five posts in one half, very strange, and to concede a penalty. That was the key moment because if Portsmouth went 1-0 up it was more difficult for us, but Cech saved the penalty and we scored with Drogba, which made it more easy,' Ancelotti explained.

CHELSEA - CHAMPIONS 2009/10

Chelsea read the script, learnt it and performed it perfectly.

There simply cannot be any better way to seal a league title than with a club's record top-flight win and in doing so, Carlo Ancelotti's magnificent side not only secured the club's fourth championship but did so with a Premier League record number of goals scored - smashing the century to move onto 103 league goals for the season - a new club record in any division.

Any tension in this game soon evaporated when Nicolas Anelka fired in with just five minutes gone. Three more goals, a Frank Lampard penalty and strikes from Salomon Kalou and another from Anelka, were netted before Didier Drogba even found the net.

He ended the day with a second-half hat-trick to take the Premier League Golden Boot with 29 league goals and 36 in all competitions.

By that stage Wigan had long played with 10 men, Gary Caldwell having been dismissed half-an-hour in conceding the penalty that led to the second goal.

Ashley Cole completed the scoring and if there was a disappointment, it was that Petr Cech only shares the Golden Gloves! Liverpool's 0-0 draw at Hull means both he and Pepe Reina end the season on 17 league clean sheets.
